The Greenon Knights cross country teams opened their season on Saturday, August 28, at the Brookville Grade Level Challenge, a unique event where every high school runner competes in the same five-kilometer(approximately 3.1 miles) race for their respective gender, but individual awards are based on grade level (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior).

Detectives from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and agents from Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification participated in a marijuana eradication operation throughout all of Clark County on Aug. 10 and 11.. Acting on numerous tips and sources of intelligence, detectives and agents were able to locate and seize marijuana plants with an approximate street value of $ 33,000.00. The confiscated plants will be destroyed at a later time.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office will continue the ongoing investigation into these incidents

Though the weather is sunny and warm now, fall and winter will soon bring blustery, chilly temperatures back to Ohio.
Volunteers at Enon United Methodist Church want to help local residents beat the cold with the church’s first-ever Coats of Love program, which seeks to provide Enon-area residents with clean, warm coats for the coming cooler months.
