The Enon Select Girl’s Basketball Program 4th Grade team has completed half of their Dayton-Metro Winter League season and compiled an impressive 8-1 record.

They are currently in sole possession of first place within their division.  They won their first two games, defeating Bellbrook and Fairborn.  They suffered their only loss at Kettering, but quickly got back on the winning track by defeating Eaton, Fairborn, Bellbrook, Mad River, Northridge and Brookville.
In their nine games, the Lady Knights have averaged 17 points per game, while holding their opponents to eight points per game.  Defensively, the Lady Knights play tough man-to-man defense, which has allowed them to get 156 steals and prevented their opponents from scoring a point in 14 of 36 quarters.  Offensively, the Lady Knights look to capitalize on steals and score off the fast break.  However, they are equally able to create many scoring opportunities by executing their half-court offense against both man-to-man and zone defenses.  In nine games they have put up nearly 400 shots, and eight different players have scored for them.
Christian Benedict is the head coach and is assisted by Rachel Pry.  Lady Knight players include Delaney Benedict, Regan Coffey, Emma Cramblett, Alex Cunningham, Kennedy Haas, Zoe Hale, Lydia Henry, Camryn Hobbs, Sierra Potter, Katie Pry, Reagan Ware, Millie Weaver, and Makenna Young.  Their next home game is January 28, 2012 at 11:30 a.m.  Home games are played at the Indian Valley Middle School in Enon, OH.  Your support is greatly welcomed.
