Former Greenon standout basketball player, Allie Turner, was honored by the Greenon administration last week, as they retired her number 13 jersey in a ceremony, prior to the Greenon girls basketball game against Stebbins.     While at Greenon, Turner was a two-time all-state selection,  three time CBC player of the year, 2010 District Player of the Year, and is the all-time leader in points scored with 2,076.  Coach Gary Falkenbach presided over the ceremony, and Turner gave a teary-eyed speech after the banner was revealed, as she shared hugs with her former Greenon teammates and family.  Turner is currently a sophomore at Morehead State College where she is playing basketball, compliments of a full basketball scholarship from the Division I College.
