October 25

11:57 a.m. – To Wendover St. for a report of an unruly juvenile.  Man reported that his grandson had two doctor’s appointments.  The grandson went to the first but refused to go to the second.  He was told that if he did not go to the doctor, he had to go to school, but refused to go.  The grandson was advised by the deputy that he had to obey his grandparents.  He went to school.

6:24 p.m. – To Joseph Dr. for a report of a domestic dispute.  Man reported that he was involved in a verbal dispute with his live-in girlfriend over some of the contacts on his cell phone.  He said his girlfriend broke his phone.  There was no physical violence and the man gathered his belongings and left the residence.

 

October 26

3:31 a.m. – To W. National Rd. and New Carlisle Pike for a report of a woman walking down the road.  Man reported that he tried to get the woman into his car but she refused.  While deputy was looking for the woman, Enon Police reported that she was in the village.  Deputy went to the Enon residence and the woman stated that she was at a birthday party in Springfield and the family started arguing so she left.  She said that when she was near the Pennsylvania House her son tried to hit her with his car.  She said he tried again at National Rd. and New Carlisle Pike.  Man stated that he was not trying to hit his mother, only to make sure she was safe.  No charges were filed.

12:39 p.m. – To Fairfield Pike for a report of phone harassment.  Woman reported that she has been receiving phone calls from a man with a foreign accent trying to sell her magazines.  She said that he said he was surprised she was treating him this way after their intimate encounter at the airport.  She said that her phone company cannot block the number because it only has five digits.  She has no suspects at this time.

8:30 p.m. – To Charlotte Dr. for a report of domestic violence.  Woman reported that her sister struck her 4-year-old daughter, threw a phone at her and was “going off.”  The sister stated that she did slap the child because she was misbehaving and the mother wasn’t doing anything to address the issues.  The woman’s mother picked her up to take her home to Vandalia and stated that the reportee often creates disturbances and then calls law enforcement and acts like a victim.  No statements were taken because both sisters were constantly arguing with each other.  No charges will be filed.

 

October 28

4:46 a.m. – To Dayton Rd. for a welfare check.  Woman stated that she believed her estranged husband left their daughter at home alone while he went to work.  She said she did not see the child leave with her father, nor did she see anyone arrive to care for the child.  Deputy knocked on the door but got no answer.  She was told that the incident would be documented.

7:00 p.m. – To Dayton Rd.  Woman requested a peace officer during a child exchange.  Woman arrived to pick up her daughter and the woman and her ex-husband exchanged words with each other, which was ended at the deputy’s request.  The ex-husband said he refused to let the child go in clothing that he had bought her and that the woman was supposed to supply clothing for the child.  The ex-husband also refused to let the child go when the child said she did not want to go with her mother.  The daughter stated that the mother has a history of drinking while the two of them are together.

9:21 p.m. – To Joseph Dr for a report of theft.  Woman called from New Jersey to report that her roommate told her that her family came to visit and after they left some of her jewelry was missing.

 

October 29

8:34 a.m. – To Dayton Springfield Rd.  Woman stated that she was driving down Dayton-Springfield Rd. near West Enon Rd. when her estranged husband tried to run her off the road.  She wanted the incident documented.

11:20 a.m. – to Tall Timber Trail for a report of identity theft.  Man said that he received a letter from the greene County Child Support Agency stating that he had a job at a cleaning company on E. National Rd.  He said he does not work there nor has he ever worked there.  He said he tried to contact the agency but they would not tell him anything.
