Monday, February 28

4:49 p.m. – To Grand Valley Dr. for a report of a burglary.  Woman reported that someone broke into the apartment that she was in the process of moving out of, and took a television, 1000 movies and 50 CD’s.  Copper pipe was also removed from the water heater.  While investigating this burglary, officer noticed a door to another apartment laying inside the apartment.  Copper pipe was missing from that apartment’s water heater, also.

 

Tuesday, March 1

1:10 a.m. – Officer was approached by a man who reported that his vehicle broke down on I-70.  The man asked to use a phone to call AAA.  Call was made and the man was transported back to his vehicle.

4:04 a.m. – To Green Vista for EMS assist.  Elderly man reported suffering shortness of breath.   He was transported to Springfield Regional Hospital.

12:30 p.m. – To Mound Circle for a report of a vehicle driving the wrong way.  Officer failed to locate the vehicle.

7:42 p.m. – Traffic stop on Broadway at East.  Driver cited for speed (40/25)

7:54 p.m. – To Hunter Rd. for a report of someone banging on a wall.  Officer spoke with several residents who reported nothing wrong.  One of the residents was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested and taken to the Clark County Jail.

 

Wednesday, March 2

4:02 p.m. – Traffic stop on Rebert at village limits.  Driver cited for speed (35/20).

4:54 p.m. – Traffic stop on S. Xenia at Western.  Driver cited for speed (47/35), passenger cited for seat belt.

 

Thursday, March 3

8:00 a.m. – To Western Ave. for a report of a burglary.  Man reported that while checking on his mother’s house, he found muddy footprints throughout.  He said two strong boxes containing her financial records, two trays of jewelry and a handgun were missing.  Entry was apparently gained by breaking a basement window.

 

Friday, March 4

4:55 p.m. – Resident came to the Government Center to file a complaint against a police officer.  The report was taken.

 

Saturday, March 5

9:11 a.m. – To Fairfield Pike for a report of a one car accident.  Driver complained of back and neck injuries and was tended to by EMS.  Clark County Sheriff Deputy took over investigation of the accident.

12:40 p.m. – Traffic stop on Fairfield Pike at Meadowlark.  Driver given repair order for brake lights and turn signal.

4:00 p.m. – To Miramar Dr. for a report of a theft.  Woman stated that someone took the reflectors at the end of her driveway.  She said that a friend on Coronado Dr. also had his reflectors taken.

 

Sunday, March 6

1:17 a.m. – Traffic stop on W. Main at Scott.  Driver given verbal warning for traffic control device.

11:00 a.m. – Traffic stop on Broadway Rd. Driver cited for speed (40/25)

1:47 p.m. – To Brunswick Dr. for a 911 hangup.  A child was playing with a cell phone.

2:15 p.m. – To Dayton Rd. to assist Sheriff Deputy with a robbery alarm.  It was a false alarm.

6:00 p.m. – To Green St. for a peace officer call.  Woman requested officer stand by while she removed personal items from the residence.

7:09 p.m. – To Bob White Dr. for a peace officer call.  Woman requested officer stand by while she removed personal items from the residence.
