Monday, February 14

4:33 p.m. – Traffic stop on S. Xenia at Student.  Driver given warning for display of registration.

 

Tuesday, February 15

2:03 a.m. – To Speedway for a lockout.  Vehicle successfully unlocked.

8:47 a.m. – To W. Main St. for a report of vandalism.  Woman reported that several windows in the business had been broken out.

11:41 p.m. – Traffic stop on S. Xenia at Miramar.  Driver given verbal warning for equipment violation.

3:45 p.m. – Traffic stop on S. Xenia at Miramar. Driver cited for speed (34/20).

 

Wednesday, February 16

3:10 a.m. – To Twin Lakes for a 911 hangup.  Officer unable to locate caller.

3:51 p.m. – Traffic stop on S. Xenia at Southern Vista.  Driver cited for speed (34/20)

 

Friday, February 18

12:30 a.m. – Traffic stop on E. Main at Southview.  Driver given warning for marked lanes.

3:43 p.m. – Traffic stop on Rebert at village limits.  Driver cited for speed (35/20)

4:12 p.m. – To Grand Valley Dr. for a report of theft.  Woman stated that she believes that someone is stealing copper from the building.  Officer found a large amount of water pouring from the ceiling.  Officer found that the previous resident, Andrew Shotts, had left the windows open when he moved out and the pipes burst.  Officer also found three dead iguanas that had been left without food or water when Shotts moved out.  The health department was contacted and they determined the building unliveable.   Shotts was located from identification given to a truck rental company and was charged with five counts of animal cruelty.

7:23 p.m. – To Hunter Rd. for a report of juveniles screaming.  Officer checked several apartments and found nothing wrong.

 

Saturday, February 19

2:48 a.m. – To Matthews & Brunswick for a report of flashlight in back yard.  Officer found all sheds locked but could not find any suspects.  Officer stayed in the area patrolling for suspicious persons.

4:32 a.m. – Man came to Police station saying that he was having a heart attack.  He was suffering extreme pain to his left arm and was removed by squad.

5:49 a.m. – Traffic stop on Main at Green.  Driver was told that she had no tail lights.  She said she recently had work done on the car, and continued to work with flashers on.

1:42 p.m. – Traffic stop on Brunswick Dr. at Rebert Pk. Driver given warning for speed.

3:41 p.m. – To Broadway for a 911 open line.  Woman said she was trying to reset her emergency hand-held computer.

 

Sunday, February 20

12:10 a.m. – Traffic stop on Rebert Pike at Brunswick.  Driver given verbal warning for stop sign violation.

12:40 p.m. – Officer found a shed unlocked on S. Xenia.  Owner was notified.

3:15 p.m. – To Speedway parking lot for a peace officer call.  Woman requested that officer stand by while she removed belongings from a property on Grand Valley.  She was found to have two open warrants for forgery for changing a number on a doctor’s note to excuse her children from school.  She was arrested and taken to the Clark County Jail.

8:28 p.m. – While at Subway, a man told officer that he had just backed into another vehicle.  Officer went to the victim’s home but found no answer.  A neighbor called the victim but got his voice mail.  He left a message for the victim to call police.

 

Monday, February 21

10:21 a.m. – To Grand Valley Dr. for a peace officer call.  Woman requested officer stand by while she removed her belongings from the property.

3:06 p.m. – To Grand Valley Dr. for a peace officer call.  Woman requested officer stand by while she removed her belongings from the property.

 

Tuesday, February 22

12:25 a.m. – Traffic stop on S. Xenia at Grand Valley.  Driver given verbal warning for traffic control device.

 

Wednesday, February 23

3:52 p.m. – Traffic stop on Conway at S. Xenia.  Driver cited for speed (35/20)

7:20 p.m. – To Sunnybrook Trail to serve a warrant.  Suspect was arrested on the warrant for passing bad checks.

9:10 p.m. – To E. Main St. for a report of phone harassment.  Woman stated that her ex-boyfriend was making improper comments on her phone.  He was contacted and advised to stop calling.

10:40 p.m. To N. Green St. for an EMS assist.  Elderly woman was having stomach pains.  Squad made transport.

 

Thursday, February 24

3:05 a.m. – To Twin Lakes Dr. for an EMS assist for a woman having breathing difficulties.

 

Friday, February 25

5;27 p.m. – Traffic stop on S. Xenia at Oak Hill.  Driver given warning for equipment violation..

6:26 p.m. – Traffic stop on E. Main at Rite Aid.  Driver given warning for equipment violation.

7:02 p.m. – Traffic stop at Enon Beach.  Driver cited for driving under suspension, fictitious tags & expired registration.

9:35 p.m. – Traffic stop on Dayton Rd.at Dominos.  Driver was cited for seat belt and was given warnings for speed, failure to signal and traffic control device.

 

Saturday, February 26

8:50 a.m. – To Grand Valley for a peace officer call.  Woman requested an officer stand by while she removed her belongings form her apartment while family members helped.

10:56 a.m. – Traffic stop on S. Xenia at Rebert.  Driver given verbal warning for speed (43/35).

11:19 a.m. – Traffic stop at Arnold & S. Xenia.  Driver given verbal warning for speed.

3:41 p.m. – To Broadway for a 911 open line.  Everything was found to be OK.

4:34 p.m. – To Green Valley for a report of a missing grill and patio table.  A family member had picked it up.

4:56 p.m. – To Green Valley for a 911 hangup.  Woman said her 3½ year old son was playing with the phone.

 

Sunday, February 27

10:24 a.m. – To the Carriage Inn for a report of a man sleeping in the upstairs hallway.  He was checked for warrants and found clear.  He was told not to visit the property again.  Upon leaving this call, officer struck another vehicle when backing his cruiser out of a parking space.  Sheriff’s deputy took a report.   Per policy, officer was instructed to be tested for drugs.

7:14 p.m. – To Twin Lakes for a welfare check.  Family reported that they had not heard form the resident in two weeks.  Resident was OK and called reporting family member.

8:56 p.m. – Man called to report his ex-wife calling him on days she was not allowed to call per their agreement.  Officer called the ex-wife and informed her of the possible consequences of her actions.

 

Monday, February 28

6:55 a.m. – Traffic stop on E. Main at village limits.  Driver cited for speed. (46/35)

7:21 a.m. – To Brunswick Dr. for a report of a scam.  Man reported that he was using his parents’ computer and found that they had been scammed out of $14,000 by a fraudulent credit card company.  He was advised to contact the Attorney General’s office and the Postal Inspector’s office.
