Monday, December 27 3:15 p.m. – to Sunnybrook Trail for a lockout. Vehicle successfully unlocked. 6:02 p.m. – Officer saw a disabled vehicle on Enon Rd. The vehicle was out of gas. Officer and driver pushed the vehicle to Medical Center lot. 9:56 p.m. – Traffic stop on Main at Winding. Driver given warning for equipment violation.
Tuesday, December 28 12:51 a.m. – Traffic stop on Main at Green. Driver given warning for expired registration.
Wednesday, December 29 5:35 a.m. – To Spring Lake Circle for EMS assist. Man was having heart problems. 3:00 p.m. – Traffic stop on Helen at Western. Driver given warning for display of registration. 4:40 p.m. – Traffic stop on Broadway at Harrison. Driver given warning for speed. 7:38 p.m. – Traffic stop on N. Pleasant at Enon Rd. Driver given warning for equipment violation.
Thursday, December 30 3:40 p.m. – Traffic stop on lot of Methodist church. Driver cited for speed (42/25) 4:00 p.m. – Traffic stop on Broadway at Harrison. Driver cited for speed (41/25) 4:20 p.m. – Traffic stop on library lot. Driver cited for speed (38/25)
Friday, December 31 1:31 a.m. – To Fay Dr. for a report of suspicious people. Five juveniles were reported walking down Koons Dr., stopped at a house on Koons, then got into a vehicle and left. Juveniles said they had just returned from Taco Bell and that they were not out walking. 3:57 a.m. – To Grand Valley for a noise complaint. Officer was unable to make contact with the noisy neighbor. 4:50 a.m. – Traffic stop on S. Xenia at Scott. Driver given verbal warning for traffic control device. 10:53 a.m. – Officer was flagged down on the Post Office Lot by a woman who expressed concern over children left unattended in a vehicle on the Speedway lot. Man got into the car and explained that the childrens mother was in the car next to his and that they were not unattended. Officer refused to allow the vehicle to leave until the children were put into a car seat, and refused to allow the father to drive the vehicle because his license was suspended. 3:45 p.m. – Traffic stop on Harrison at Enon Rd. Jeffrey Ogilby was arrested for OVI and placed in the cruiser and began to “curse and scream” and tried to kick out the window. He was taken to the Clark County Jail but they were overcrowded and could not take him. He was also cited for driving under suspension, marked lanes and improper display of registration. 11:15 p.m. – Traffic stop on Speedway lot. Driver cited for driving under suspension and license plate light. A “responsible party” took control of the vehicle.
Saturday, January 1 12:14 a.m. – Traffic stop on Main at Southview. Driver given warning for no license plate light. 1:06 a.m. – Traffic stop on N. Harrison at Estelle Leather. Driver was arrested for DUI and transported to the Clark County Jail. He was also cited for a turn signal violation. 8:58 a.m. – Traffic stop on Enon-Xenia at Harrison. Driver given warning for traffic control device. 10:07 a.m. – To Helmer Circle to assist EMS. 11:48 a.m. – To Enon Beach to assist Clark County Sheriff’s Department. 7:15 p.m. – Traffic stop on Main St. at east village limits. Driver given warning for left tail light out. 7;29 p.m. – Traffic stop on S. Xenia at Indian Valley School. Driver cited for license plate light and given warning for speed.
Sunday, January 2 12:54 a.m. – Traffic stop on Xenia at Scott. Driver given verbal warning for equipment violation. 1:05 a.m. – Traffic stop on Xenia at Taylor. Driver given verbal warning for equipment violation. 8:58 a.m. – Traffic stop on Enon-Xenia at Harrison. Driver given verbal warning for turning right on red. 9:22 a.m. – To Spring Lake Circle. Carbon Monoxide detector went off. Officer waited for fire dept. to assist if needed. 5:15 p.m. – To Main St. & Enon Rd. Blue Chevy 4x4 lost a load of scrap metal. Officer removed scrap from the road and looked for the vehicle. By 6:00 p.m., someone had picked up the scrap metal. 6:59 p.m. – To Fay Dr. to assist Fire Dept. Electric stove was sparking. Firefighter unplugged stove and told resident not to use it until it was repaired. 7:27 p.m. – Traffic stop on Enon Rd. at Pleasant Dr. Driver given verbal warning to have headlight fixed.
