SCHMID, Barbara Kay (Sims) 53, of Springfield went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 7, 2011.

She was born November 27, 1957, the daughter of Glennis Paul and Eva Roedean (Kincer) Sims.

Barb graduated from Greenon High School in 1975.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; daughter, Deidra Fugate; sons, Robert (Amanda) Eicholtz and Jonathan Eicholtz; sisters, Vicki Sims, Amy (Derek) Salser, Lori Sims and Heather Sims; brothers, Jody, Michael and Eric Sims; Grandchildren, Jessica, Krissy, and Kassi Inman, Cierra, Emily, Nevaeh and LeAnne Eicholtz, JonJon Eicholtz, Carter Mendenhall and Tyler Byrd; nieces, Erica Estes, Kaylee Dean Boisel and special niece, Andrea Lambert; nephews, Chad Boisel, Glenn Sims and Jimmy Skaggs, Jr.; special cousin, Nanye (Charlie) Lamont of Jenkins, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held at ADKINS FUNERAL HOME in Enon on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 10am to 12 (noon) for immediate family only and 11am to 12pm for all other special people in Barb's life.

Services will be conducted at 12 noon in the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the New Carlisle Cemetery. Fellowship will follow at Enon VFW Post 8437.
