Donna E. Provens, 58 of Enon passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 in the Kettering Medical Center. 

She was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 8, 1952, the daughter of Cecil and Margie Provens. 

Donna retired as an account clerk from Wright State University.  She was a member of the Native American Spirituality Red Road Path, enjoyed collecting rocks and minerals, and was an animal lover.  Donna was also the owner of Emerald Sky where she practiced as a Reiki practitioner healer.  But her greatest enjoyment was her grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Her survivors include her son Lonnie (Sheila) Maurer of Springfield; sister Sherry Provens of Enon; brother Joseph A. (Cheryl) Provens of Xenia; grandchildren Logan and Lexie Maurer both of Springfield; special friends Linda Maurer, Mary Landau, and “Grandmother”.  Emerald Sky Woman (Donnas’ native name) will be missed greatly by her extended spiritual family.  A celebration of her life will be Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home with Sapokinona Whitefeather (known as Grandmother) officiating.  A gathering of family and friends will be two hours prior to services.
