Edwin “Mike” Jump, 67, of Springfield passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 in his home.

He was born March 7, 1944 in Springfield to the late Elsworth and Annabelle Jump.

Mike retired from W.P.A.F.B. after twenty two years and was a Navy Veteran. He was a member of the George Rogers V.F.W. Post 8437, Amvets post37, Enon Eagles, Union Club and the Machinist Club.

He is survived by his close friend, Mary Cyphers, a daughter, Amy (Mark) Buongiorno of Tolland, Connecticut, a son, Jeremy (Abby) Jump of Enon, a brother, Norman Richard Jump, two grandchildren, Alyssa Buongiorna, Eric Buongiorno, and a grandson, Christian Jump, who is due to be born in July.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, April 21, 2011 in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Adkins Funeral Home is assisting Mike’s family with his final wishes.
