WENDLING, Robert M., age 80, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Carrie; siblings, Eddie, John, George, Clarence, Florence, and wife of 46 years, Bethel. 

He is survived by his son, Marc Timothy Wendling; step-children, Rhonda Hardy and Edward J. (Patricia) Hardy; grandchildren, Joshua Kyle Wendling, Matthew Tyler Straight, Derrick Pitstick, Barry (Karen) Pitstick, Jakob Dylan Hardy, and Nathan Kyle Hardy; great grandchildren, Emma and Anna Pitstick; sister, Lucille Warden; brother, Lawrence Wendling, and numerous in-laws, other relatives, and friends.

He was honorably discharged from the USMC and also retired from DP&L. 

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Eastview Church of God, 5289 Burkhardt Road, Dayton with Pastor Zeke Grigsby and Rev. Larry Nichols presiding.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek.
