Wolfe, Shirley J., 73, of Springfield died Friday, June 4, 2010 in her residence.

 

She was born June 26, 1936 in East St. Louis, IL the daughter of Barney and Helen (Piela) Nicholson.

She had been employed as a seamstress for Alterations Unlimited for ten years until her retirement.

She was a member of Enon Church of Christ.

Survivors include seven children and spouses Diana and Keith Koller, Belleville, IL, JoAnn and Steve Friedeck, Ofallon, IL, Karen and Terry Shaffer, Springfield, Jamie and Jerry McHugh, Fairborn, OH, James Wolfe, Enon, OH, Dawn and Larry Serna, Austin, TX and David and Stacie Wolfe, Fairborn, OH; brother, Jerry Nicholson, Enon, OH, eighteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband James in 2007 and a sister Judy Molen.

Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. Sunday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor John Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Mercy Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
