SFC Ronald L. Trimner, U.S. Army Ret., 57, of Springfield, died Tuesday evening, May 11, 2010 in the Veteran's Administration Hospital, Dayton.
He was born on May 6, 1953 in Reed City, Michigan the son of Ronald E. and Gertrude J. (Baxter) Trimner. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1996, following 22 years of service in the armored cavalry. He is survived by his father of Reed City, Michigan; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Caroline Trimner of Springfield; two grandchildren, Patrick and Georgeianna Trimner; a sister, Connie; four brothers, Mike, Michael, John, and Steve; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Kenneth. Services with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Dayton National Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Mohr of Enon United Methodist Church officiating. |
