Harry O. (Cotton) Eldridge 89, of Enon, died at 10:04 PM on Sunday April 11, 2010 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born November 29, 1920 in St. Charles, Virginia the eldest son of the late Emory and Ethel (Johnston) Eldridge.  

He worked for 32 years as a water plant operator at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Fairborn, Ohio, retiring in 1976.   He was an active member of Eagles Aerie #397 and the Union Club of Springfield.  

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mary Ann (Hupman) Eldridge; six children Jeffrey (Elizabeth) of Beavercreek, OH; Mary Jo (Spink) Patterson, of Columbus, OH; Randall (Gayalene), of Springfield, OH; Mark Spink, of Plain City, OH; John (Vicki) Spink, of Springfield, OH; and Bonnie (Spink) and Jay Clucus, of Plain City, OH;   two brothers Hubert and Sherl and eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and  numerous nieces and nephews.  

He was predeceased by four brothers, Howard, Richard, Harold and Robert and his first wife Edith (Wolford).  Harry donated his body to the Wright State University School of Medicine.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.  A memorial gathering will be held at the Springfield Eagles Aerie #397 Saturday, April 22, 2010 from 1-4pm.
