The small bridge just east of Hagan Road on Rebert Pike will be closing for 30 days beginning July 2.  According to Ned Weber of the Clark County Engineer’s office, the short span will be getting a replacement of the support beams with precast concrete.  Weber noted that the work is being done in July to allow for completion in time for school buses to use the heavily traveled road.  Signs were posted this past weekend in hopes of alerting drivers.  Motorists can use Dayton Road to Tecumseh to detour around the construction, Rebert Pike to Fowler to Fairfield Pike, or Hunter Road to Fairfield Pike.
Other work planned by the county includes work on a section of Hagan Road later this month, however this is expected to be of short duration.  The Rocky Point bridge has been a contract bid, and work is to be scheduled for later this summer on that location.  The bridge is just west of the Rocky Point and Old Mill Road intersection.  The Enon Eagle will be providing residents with an update on this project when details are made available.
