| Attention all fourth and fifth graders in the area. Remember you are eligible to win a $25 scholarship to the Hertzler House’s 2012 Living History DAY Camp. Ten lucky students will be able to attend this special day camp, where the camper pretends it is the year 1854 and gets to do all the activities children would assume at that time –- which includes preparing and cooking lunch in the fireplace plus, olde tyme games and crafts. Remember, to win you must write a 100-word essay about the history of Clark County or George Rogers Clark and submit it to your teacher or parent. All fourth and fifth graders in the area are invited – public or private schools or home-schooled. Best essays are due to Barbara Arnold at 162 Green Vista Drive, Enon, OH 45323 by March 1, 2012. Ten winners will choose the date to attend – June 25, 27, or 29 and will be notified by the Hertzler House Committee.
